• challenge the church to share in the responsibility of caring for single mothers and their children;

• develop a mentoring program to establish nurturing relationships with single mothers and their children;
• establish spiritual growth opportunities to single mothers to explore faith-based principles for living;
• train and equip single mothers with life management skills to instill confidence and raise self-esteem;
• nurture single mothers through a variety of support groups;
• create opportunities for the development of occupational and vocational skills for single mothers through the utilization of community resources;
• meet the physical needs of single mothers through food pantries, baby and toddler supplies, car care, home maintenance, household furnishings;
• facilitate annual programs to meet practical needs of single mothers through back-to-school supplies and holiday gift giving;
• award educational scholarships to empower single mothers to become self-supporting;
• offer budget and financial management classes to single mothers;
• encourage the development of healthy family relationships through parenting programs for single mothers;
• provide counseling services to bring mental and emotional healing to single mothers;
• build a referral team of medical and legal professionals to assist single mothers;
• discover, develop, supply, and support volunteers and leaders for mission and ministry to single mothers in the local area.
